Welcome to my Portfolio

Hello, my name is Jonathon Rosamond. I graduated from California State University, Chico with a major is Communication Design. My passion is design in technology. More specifically, web design/UI Design. When designing websites I like to work in Dreamweaver and WordPress. I consider Apple’s former Chief Designer, Jony Ive as my inspiration because his style of design is one of simplicity yet beauty and it showed in the Apple products he helped design such as the iPhone and MacBooks. Not only did he help design the products, but he helped design the user interface as well. The iOS operating system is where my love for technology and design began. I try to take a minimalist and simple approach in my design similar to that of Ive because I believe there’s beauty in simplicity. 

When I’m not designing I like to hang out with my friends. My favorite season is summer because every summer my friends and I go on a camping trip to Lake Almanor where we jet ski, roast marshmallows and have all sorts of fun. I’m a big fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe where my favorite movie is Avengers: Endgame. I saw that movie on opening with a few friends and it was an unforgettable experience. Those that meet me at first seem to think I’m shy, but once you get to know me you’ll realize I’m a fun and relaxed person to be around.
