As a web design intern, I was put on a team that was assigned a client, Earl’s Plumbing to help redesign their website. We presented our client possible website templates WordPress offers and looked at templates different companies similar to Earl’s Plumbing use for their websites. Once they picked the template my team’s main web designer and myself used that template to build a website around their brand. We kept the colors consistent with their logo, made the navigation really easy to use and created pages to attract the client’s target audience which was homeowners and women 26 or older. Our client was very pleased with the results of our website and likes the fact that it’s a responsive website so the layout and navigation changes depending on what device you’re using.
